Given that this piece of rock only gets a short blast of light at dawn in mid summer, it’s one of those pics I had to dream about for a few years before trips and timing aligned. But we got there in the end! It’s Nathan Hoette on Space Odyssey p2 (27) at The Lost World, in The Grampians. It’s a pretty familiar scene for anyone who has used #theGrampians guidebook that Neil Monteith and I produced a few years ago. Well, that book proved to be more popular than we expected so we’ve been working on a new revised and significantly expanded edition. Big job but done now and the new book — Grampians Climbing, 2015 Edition — should be out in June. It’s 304 pages!
